When writing fiction, visualising characters is the most important part to me. Characters are almost always the basis of my stories. I got into a habit of trying to recreate their appearance with Cast Cards, used a lot on fanfiction forums.

This blog is simply a celebration of art in images and a way to mentally 'see' people and places featured in my stories. Massive Disclaimer: most (if not all) of the images do not belong to me (I found a lot of them on Google) and I have only used them to create a different artistic view, so all due respect is given to the creator or artist of the images when possible.

The Source

On my hunt looking for music I could write my Seven Empires story to, I came across the sountrack to Memoirs Of A Geisha. One user had posted a video with the most beautiful pictures, but no matter how hard I looked,  just couldn't seem to find them, so i print screen them instead to share with you today. Find the original video here:

Elsa The Snow Queen And Jack Frost (Rise Of The Guardians)

To find out why my posts had been so scarce, please click the link below or go to my other blog, which explains my Notice Of Suspension.

The Fandom

This post was heavily delayed because I needed to disconnect from the interwebz and get a life.

I only discovered this popular 'ship a few months ago and for some reason I also find it very cute. Also I connect with it on a fangirl level; people online are freaking crazy and f***king amazing.

Disney Princess Costume Swap (by Godohelp)

All images belong to Godohelp on Deviant Art.

The Nostalgia

For those who grew up with Disney, these pictures really do bring out the nostalgia, at least, for me they do. Beautifully drawn, imaginative, and some of the images have references to the movie (The rose from Beauty and the Beast).

There are others as well, some that I'm less familiar with like The Hunchback of Notre Dame, so be sure to check out the artist:

Realm Of Fantasy

Still here?
Great. Welcome to 2014.

As I said before, all blogs will be updated today;

I think she looks damn cute with a 'fro.

I thought the way to start 2014 on this blog is by remembering my dream.

The Goal

I'm working really hard on my book, it'll be finished this year. As I write fantasy, I found these pictures inspiring. I needed to get myself in the right gear. I hope 2014 is an productive year for you too.

The Sims Social On Facebook

Happy New Year's Eve.

All of my blogs will be updated tomorrow. ALL OF THEM.
Today is just the non-fiction ones, P Sov, Alt Ego - and this one, Img Arc.

Can't get enough of the cuteness.

This isn't Jade Rose by the way. I hadn't created her at that time.

The Game

Back when I had a Facebook, The Sims Social game was the only game I liked playing on it. For a while, it was the only reason I went on facebook. I loved doing the quests and getting more money to improve my sims skills and appearance and house or whatever. I remembered I screen-saved a lot of the looks when i heard that the game was gonna be shut down. Nevermind. It was fun while it lasted.

See you on the other side.

Artist: Destiny Blue

All images belong to Destiny Blue.

This one reminds me of Destiny Blue, as in the artist.
I don't know why.
This image isn't a portrait of her but it just - !! does!!
It just really reminds me of her!!

I have a lot of artists I really like, such as Nene Thomas and Anne Stokes, and Destiny Blue is another one.

I was super-gutted I didn't get to see her at MCM Comic Con (here for more) this past summer, but hopefully I will soon get to buy a print of one of the above pictures, which are my particular favourites. She has many more pictures on her Deviant art:

The Style

I love how the style is so very anime, but there is something else as well, for example in the picture with the girl with white hair, barcode on her arm, gazing up in the rain - I feel like it has a touch of realism too.

I think what really adds to this is the colours - amazing blends of glowing, swirling tones, it's just completely mesmerising.

I think her artwork is now available for sale online. I hope she gets some licensed merchandise out too. In different areas of my life, people inspire me to get better at a certain skill so that I can inspire others like how I was inspired. Whenever I see Destiny Blue artwork, it really makes me want to learn to draw! Properly!
